Minimal poetry is concise poetry containing only a minimum of words. To maximize the effect of minimal words, the author may employ innovative layout, purposeful modifications of ordinary words, newly coined words, interlingual or intralingual word play, interesting juxtapositions, and other techniques.
Jeffrey Angles is fond of words, even made up ones. When not thinking minimally, Jeffrey is a professor of Japanese literature at Western Michigan University.
